Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you want a global logistics job that really matters? Production Control (OP) is an important function within Scania Logistics and due to the wide and growing range of responsibilities in the department we have recently conducted an organizational change where the Central Planning team (OPP) has been divided into two groups; OPP - Central Planning and OPR - Production Planning. You now have the chance to join the newly formed OPR team as we are expanding. As a member of OPR you will focus on mid- and short term planning activities in close collaboration with both our Central- and Local planning teams as well as multiple cross functional teams within Scania and Traton.

The main operational responsibilities of OPR are Restriction Management, Production Levelling and Production Ordering of trucks, buses and engines. The team also works with Production- and Crisis Coordination processes, and cross brand coordination. On top of this, OPR own and maintain some of Scania's core planning tools.

The position
We are searching for new talents to strengthen the team and work with Production coordination, Production levelling, Restriction management and various other tasks within the teams responsibility. By joining this newly formed team you will have the chance to influence the role and assignments as we plan to recruit more than one candidate and can form the roles and the team setup based on the experience, knowledge, skills and interests of the selected candidates.

In this position you will get a deep understanding of the end-to-end order-to delivery process. Besides the operational work you will also have the opportunity to be involved in future cross brand cooperation's and many important development projects.
We work in a global and cross functional environment that will increase your network within Scania with main interfaces to other functions within Logistics, the Production Units, Purchasing and Sales & Marketing.

Your profile
You have an academic degree or similar knowledge gained from working experience. You probably have previous experience from Production, Logistics, Purchasing or Sales and Marketing and you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

We believe that you are flexible, analytic and have a solution oriented mindset that allows you to quickly find solutions to situations that arise. You enjoy working with people, are focused on the team's common goals and strives to create good relationships with different stakeholders involved in the processes at Scania and Traton.
