Main task and responsibilities
You will lead the production controlling functions for the three Swedish production sites (our main site placed in Lidköping and the other sites in Bollnäs and Edsbyn) as well as the purchased products. Your team will consist of two Production controllers and yourself. You will plan the work of the production controller team and motivate the team members to fulfill and meet deadlines. You report directly to the Finance Director and to our Production Cutting Tool Director in a dotted line.
Duties
• Support Production Director in all Financial production issues
• Be directly involved in all annual Budget process as well in the quarter Forecasts
• Control the accuracy of production weekly KPI
• Control the accuracy of each production site monthly reporting
• Consolidate the monthly production financial report (Standard cost system
variations)
• Coordinate and support the monthly closing process in close collaboration with the
Accounting Share Service Center in Enköping
• Analyses and comments on the production financial statements
• Understand and explain the production financial drivers, assuring accurate causals and
comply with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements of the group
• Assure the accuracy of the production financial statements and respective inventories
• Follow up of production site profitability/efficiency as well as production variations
• Assure implementation of corporate processes and procedures (USGAAP, SOX)
• Maintain sound internal control for all inventory types (raw materials, semi finished goods,
WIP, GIT, and finish inventory)
• Maintain sound internal control for all consumptions (BoM as well as consumables)
• Assure proper control and follow up of assets
• Analyses of deviations in volumes and price
• Assure monthly reconciliations between accounting Ledger and system sub ledger
• Coordinate relationships with internal Merchandize Purchasers (ESP products)
• Identify and develop process improvements to promote consistency, increase
efficiency and improve quality
Who are we looking for?
To be qualified for this position you need to have a solid experience from production controlling. We prefer you having a degree in Accounting or Finance, but your solid experience is the most important to us. You have documented experience from management/leadership positions and have excellent communication skills. External audit experience would be a plus as well as knowledge of US GAAP and/or IAS.
We are looking for a person who is driven and curious but work in a structured way. You should have an open mind and work closely together with your team to advocate collaboration within the production organization but also other units. In addition you are driven and have a strong analytical mind. Our corporate language is English and therefore it's a requirement of fluent English, both written as well as spoken.
