Do you want to take part on our strategic ambition to lead in sustainability by managing our product safety as a Product Safety manager? Then this position is an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Product Safety Manager to Stora Enso Skoghall Mill where you will report to Quality Manager.

In this role you will lead in the delivery of an effective food and product safety system that mitigates any risks. Work cross-functionally to develop food and product safety policies and procedures that align to and support operational ways of working and manage up-stream supplier compliance. You will also evaluate and measure operational and commercial implementation of processes to close compliance gaps and continually improve the established food and product safety system. Support the wider business in the development of new products and work collaboratively with internal as well as external stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
• Lead, develop and coordinate product safety system for production of liquid- and carton board.
• Continuously monitor legislation and standards and make sure that product statements and standard operating procedures comply with the requirements.
• Be the main contact with customers in product safety related topics.
Who are we looking for?
Are you the one? In order to succeed in this role, you have a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in chemistry. You have a background in product safety or research, and you have experience in interpreting laws and regulations. You are a good communicator used to customer contacts and you communicate fluently in English.
