Working with IEC Low Voltage Motors embedding sustainability and circularity into business strategy and value proposition /explore trends , challenges and opportunities related to energy efficiency and sustainability for IEC Low Voltage Motors product range, including new business models , Eco-labels etc.
Also, working with Motion, you will be supporting sustainability strategy implementation, governance, decision-making, project execution and competence building.
This position reports to Head of Product Marketing IEC Low Voltage Motors.
Your responsibilities
Stay abreast of sustainability trends, analyze sustainability information and conduct competitive analysis to support decisions regarding Business Area sustainability strategic direction and positioning
Support sustainability project execution by assessing strategic options, providing recommendations and guidance, engaging relevant stakeholders and coordinating cross division efforts as needed
Support preparation and delivery of trainings to build sustainability competence in key functions, such as sales, R&D (Research and Development), product management and supply chain
Support divisions and local organizations in fulfilling customers and third party questionnaires
Prepare templates, presentations and reports to support BA sustainability function governance
Support effective integration of sustainability into IEC Low Voltage Motors business strategy, coordinate and lead follow up on agreed actions of division circularity strategy
Benchmark assessment for product sustainability offering (A detailed scenario of trends in the market) and recommendation for the business
Engage and partner with external and internal stakeholders (example customers, Local Sales Units) to report on, raise awareness and gain commitment on IEC Low Voltage Motors sustainability efforts and performance
Collaborate proactively with other functions and business partners to drive performance and best practice
Support value proposition development by ensuring sustainability aspects are properly embedded
Create materials to promote IEC Low Voltage Motors approach to sustainability and circularity (current and future offering), supports marketing campaigns and communications, by collecting relevant good practices from local units, creating articles on implemented sustainability projects
Your background
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Marketing, possibly with a major in Sustainability
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in industry
Demonstrate experience in driving sustainability topics in the areas of business development, product management and marketing
Sound knowledge of sustainability topics and sustainability reporting frameworks (CDP, GHG Protocol, SBTi, GRI)
Strong analytical, research and forecasting skills
Self starter with strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing the most pressing and impactful matters
Fluent in English (written and oral)
