Product Manager for an international company
Do you want to be part of an award winning department within DeLaval? DeLaval is now looking for a Product Manager within the aftermarket segment with focus on liners and tubes.
Liners and tubes are essential products for milk extraction and the first point of contact for milk. The importance of correct products with the right quality and functionality is key to success for the farmer - which makes this an interesting and challenging opportunity for the right candidate!
Portfolio Liners and Tubes have a global profit and loss responsibility and we are working directly with our international markets across the globe. The Portfolio consists of a small team based in Sweden, US and Brazil. As a Product Manager in our team, you will be a key player in the daily operation as well as setting the future strategies for the assortment.
The responsibility of the Product Manger Liner and Tubes includes, among other things, to define and implement strategies, pricing and assortment life cycle management for liners and tubes globally. You will also work closely with our factories, sourcing departments, distribution centers and other DeLaval entities globally. Your mission is to optimize our assortment's market position and financial return across its life cycle. This role gives an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop within an international company with a leading position in the market segment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
• Active participation in driving the business around liners and tubes
• Assortment life cycle management
• Provide technical and product knowledge of the product assortment
• Generate product requirements; determining specification, pricing and time plans for product introduction
• Maintain product quality and availability in conjunction with supply chain
• Lead the work of resolving quality issues including market communication
• Decide on warranty claims and reimbursement
• Securing technical documentation and sales argumentation
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering and/or Business development or Agriculture
• 3-5 years working experience in Product Management
• Technical skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to interact in cross functional as well as in cross cultural teams
• Fluent in English, spoken as well as written. Spanish and/or Portuguese is a merit
• Experience of working with ERP-systems is a merit
