Essential Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for one of the resin business most critical intermediates, the base matrices. The base matrices are not sold as a final product, but is critical for all of our resin products performance in the hands of our customers. It is important that the person in this role take a holistic responsibility for the base matrices and align activities and strategies horizontally. In this role you will be included in aspects of the whole product life-cycle, incl. new technologies for manufacturing and new product development, raw material handling, change control, forecasting and delivery security, etc.
This role involves interactions with basically all other functions in the company, and the person in this role will have critical impact in several ongoing projects and activities with strategic implications.
Key aspects of the role include:
Represent customer interests for your product(s) inside GE
Align and agree within PM organisation
Align and agree horizontally and vertically in the organization
Other aspects include:
Drive the overall product development or product care processes
Create business cases and adjust/monitor before and during product development and product finalization
Ensure targets for production cost, inventory levels, quality and security of supply are met
Provide customer centric leadership to Quality, Sourcing and Supply Chain functions to ensure the portfolio retains and improves on its position in these areas
Provide project information, status updates, forecasts etc. to internal stakeholders (horizontally and vertically)
When needed ensure product market readiness incl. aspects such as product registration, labeling, legal and safety requirements, storage conditions, logistics, technical content of databases, and after sales support
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Life Sciences/Biotechnology or equivalent knowledge/experience
Proven experience in a GE Healthcare Life Sciences business
Experience of customer/market focused activities
Good interpersonal and communication skills, plus experience of using these skills to participate in and influence cross-functional teams
Experience from chemical manufacturing and/or product development
Good knowledge in bioprocess chromatography
