About the Role
The Product Manager is responsible for setting and driving the product strategy and vision for a product area that leads Storytel into the future. You will together with the Tech Manager make sure that the team is focusing on the right things that create the most value to our customers and our business, balancing short versus long term business needs. This needs to be done in close cooperation with the departments of Development, Commercial and Content to turn Technology into Product.
You will be part of our Product development team and report to the Head of product.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
• Defining the big "Why" and "What" for the product area
• Responsible for the product area, product strategy and securing clear direction and goals for the team
• Maximize business value by identifying opportunities and potential new revenue streams
• Drive a strong product development process
• Together with the Tech Manager set the direction for the team of developers, testers and designers
• Build a culture based on collaboration, innovation and trust
• Securing transparency and making connections between different stakeholders and teams
About You
To be successful in the role we believe that you have strong knowledge of new technologies and trends and a proven track record in successfully executing product strategies into a competitive market. You are someone that can influence others and is able to motivate your colleagues.
We believe that you have:
• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, computer science, or engineering
• 3+ years of Product Management in a high growth tech company
• Proven ability to build, lead and motivate effective teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
