YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a strategic thinker with a good business mind who understands and is interested in software and systems solutions. We believe you are an engineer, preferably with a programming background, with experience from product management or working several years close to the market and customers. You have good communications and leadership skills and you have documented experience in leading people as project manager or likewise. You are able to motivate and direct people and enjoy being the driving force within groups.
THE SYSTEM & SERVICES UNIT
System and Services is globally responsible for the service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for complementary system components and software, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Subscriber Technology Services is a new offering, providing large-scale surveillance and monitoring solutions mainly for the small business market, which has created a huge interest in the market. The next step, to fully package the offering and grow it to its full potential is a vital challenge for the company and the Product Manager will play an important role in this process.
As Product Manager you will be responsible for the product offering. This includes ordering new products or services, maintaining the existing offering and phasing out products from the offering. In addition you priorities all the activities connected to your products and manage the market. In detail you will:
• collecting feedback and determine market needs
• defining product roadmap and strategies
• ordering products and services
• launching products and services to market and managing the existing product portfolio
• setting price
The role as product manager is highly collaborative and except your external contacts you will work in close connection with many internal functions. You will work with other product managers focusing on the sales related process and going to market strategies, product specialists handling support and service providers, the R & D department which develops the products and services and marketing which runs the market launch process.
The position involves traveling, about 30 - 50 days / year.
