Our team, Face Drilling and Carrier, is a part of R&D Drilling in our Underground division. The team is located in Örebro and consists of Technical Product Managers, Product Engineers for our Face Drilling Rigs as well as mechanical designers for the carrier. Face Drilling is the Drilling product group with the largest volume and we are looking for a Product Engineer to handle the mid and large size equipment. It is products with high customization and many new customer demands emerging.
Your mission
As a Product Engineer, you work closely with the Technical Product Manager, who is R&Ds responsible person for a product. You will collaborate with several other areas of the company, such as marketing, service, production and sourcing. Your primary work is in the Order To Delivery process and you work with Machine Orders, from creating a bill of material to supporting the production and test center. You will also work with customer engineered solutions and new innovations. As Product Engineer Face Drilling you work both with the existing products as well as with the new coming technologies.
Your profile
To be successful in the role you need to have a strong customer commitment, an agile mindset and be a team player. You have an experience in a customer-facing role and have previously worked on highly customized products. You have a genuine interest in finding new ways of working, are comfortable in working in an ambiguous environment and are able to lead yourself. You have proven cooperation skills as the work involves daily internal and external contacts. You have proven skills in Teamcenter and in Creo. You have a bachelor's degree in Mechanics or equivalent education and speak both Swedish and English.
Knowledge in face drilling application as well as in the design of drill rigs, both mechanical and structure-wise, is considered a plus.

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
