www.esab.com ESAB's Flexible Automation Group carries a large range of products and components for automated welding processes including Robotic and Mechanized GMAW and GTAW, Laser Welding and Plasma Welding process packages and turn-key systems. To maintain sales over a long life cycle it is necessary to secure the quality of the products and to implement improvements.

The Product Coordinator has responsibility for maintaining the automation product portfolio and is thereby essential for ESAB Automation growth and profitability. Continuous tracking of product cost, profitability and quality is essential for understanding the product portfolio performance. Trends in any direction are most often basis for the role to trigger action.
• Work closely with our product management to determine changes needed to keep the portfolio competitive.
• Continually identify and drive cost cutting activities to maximize product profit
• Maintaining the product portfolio and, together with product management, identify product improvements.
• Product portfolio rationalization to ensure effectiveness of the active product portfolio.
Role Purpose
Support the management and development of welding products for ESAB's global automated GMAW, GTAW, PAW and HLAW product lines.
Responsibilities
• Support the activities of ESAB's Product Manager for Flexible Automation.
• Train and support the local sales force on product knowledge.
• Support regional sales by actively communicating with local sales people and or customers on technical solutions.
• Maintain automation product technical and marketing information.
• Maintain product BOMs and ERP logistical information.
• Ensure proper setup and inventory distributions of wear and spare parts.
• Develop and maintain Features & Benefits and Points of Differentiation for all products.
• Develop and maintain sales tools and educational materials.
Knowledge, Experience, Education and Professional Qualifications
• Welding experience preferred
• Good technical knowledge of GMAW processes and equipment
• Ability to interact effectively with engineering staff and sales force
• Good presentation technique
• Strong English language fluency and effective speaking and writing skills
Education and Professional Qualifications
• Good understanding of product development and maintenance
• Experience from working with product quality
• Knowledge of ERP systems, BOMs and logistics is important
Personal characteristics
• Self-motivated and able to set the right priorities to deliver work on time
• Strong drive combined with excellent communication and networking skills
• Commercial mind-set
• Strong analytical and strategic sense
• Result- and performance oriented
The Product Coordinator reports to the Global Product Manager, Flexible Automation.
Location Laxå/Göteborg, Sweden. Travelling both locally and international is required.
