o Serving as the Electrical Design head, Consultant, technical leader, solution provider and project manager for significant development/ infrastructure projects. The ability to manage several simultaneous projects is a requirement.
o Handling Electrical Design for various categories of projects from conception to completion of residential, commercial, hospitality, industrial & infrastructural projects. Shall be responsible for High standard, Safe, Energy efficient & economical designs
o Preparing of Project Drawings & Documentation, Technical specification, system design, and develop technical systems.
o Preparing and getting approval of DBR & DPR is essential.
o Establishing the initial project schedule & estimates and regular maintenance & tracking of project schedules. This activity includes the recommendation of appropriate staffing for each design activity and determination of time to completion for each task on the project schedule.
o Application of standard engineering design standards & principles and methodology for research of design options and experimentation to determine potential design feasibility, innovation in designs or application.
o Management of external design resources, when appropriate.
o Coordination of activities between the cross-functional team and design team that facilitates creation, review, and release of Project Requirements, Design Specifications, Quantification, Cost estimation, Design Drawings and Design Descriptions.
o Coordination of design, test, and build activities between the design team and key cross-functional teams including execution team.
o Review of project documentation for accuracy including documentation intended for customer use.
o Issue of GFC/ WD/ CD; approval of shop/ vendor drawings.
o Inspection and or Evaluation of equipment / product non-conformances and recommendation of design modifications.
o Conducting Technical training sessions & Mentoring engineers and technicians
Experience in leading design & execution teams consisting of engineers and technicians, should be a contributor in progress of the company, Positive attitude with empathy towards the team.
Systems level engineering experience with a focus on Electrical and Low Voltage design including Sub-Station Design, Power Distribution System Design, Internal & External Lighting Designs, Lightning Protection & Earthing System Design, Fire Detection & Alarm System Design, PAVA System Design, Security & Surveillance System Design, Telecommunication System Design, IBMS Design, integration of various services, interconnection, and user interface hardware specification.
Solution provider with knack of Trouble shooting & problem solving skills,
Knowledge of National & International Standards.
Experience in implementation of the designs at project site.
Strong Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, CAD).
Ability to utilize an electrical CAD package, Eco-dial, Dialux, CGLux etc., or similar commercially available software.
Well developed, detail oriented organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
Develop team of Engineers & Technicians
Ability to work with management to set and achieve goals based on priorities of development projects and support of internal and external customers.
