BB&PS is a unit with a staff of around 80 people. We are located in
Gothenburg and VMCC (Volvo Monitoring Concept Center). VMCC is located in Camarillo, USA and are responsible for our concept cars.
BB&PS purpose is to define and the develop VCC's Brand, Business and Product Strategies, to drive VCC towards an even more Customer and Business oriented company, in order to continue to define and explore our Defendable Competitive Advantages (in the premium segment) in a sustainable way. We keep total focus on Brand, Business and Product Strategy, we secure and further explore VCC:s Brand, Business and Product development.
BB&PS also defines and explores VCC:s defendable competitive advantages. We are responsible for Business Concepts including Product Offer definition and follow up in the execution phase.
Price Management department handles price and content discussions for cars from project phase, through the life cycle stage until the car is phased out. This work is carried out in close cooperation with other key players like markets, projects, Global Marketing, BB&PS, B&VO, Market Intelligence and Finance. Price Management is also running the Revenue Forum which is the price decision forum of Volvo Car Corporation (VCC). The Price Management team now looks for a temporary Price Process Manager to work with the price decisions in Revenue Forum and connected processes.
Job Responsibilities:
In this role you are dealing with all markets in the world and on top of the business knowledge it gives good insights in the business situation in the various markets.
The role includes:
Coordinate and steer proactively and act as "gate keeper" for business cases and decisions in the revenue forum to get a process that gives decisions in time that support our business objectives.
Main responsible for the agenda, minutes and to steer the meeting to get the desired decisions in Revenue Forum.
Coordinate internal stake holders from B&VO, MSS Finance, Price Management, Lifecycle Management, Markets etc to ensure a smooth and efficient process. The role involves active participation in the process and in the analysis of the business cases.
Coordinate and steer the price decision process from incoming business cases through decision in Revenue Forum, to communication and storage of price decisions.
Continuously develop and improve the price process linked to Revenue Forum.
Desired Qualities and Profile:
University degree or equivalent education preferably within Business Administration or Marketing area.
Proficient in both written and spoken English, second and further other major languages are also desirable
Good Marketing knowledge and network
Good product, financial and competitor knowledge
Knowledge about our processes for prices and business cases
Familiar with different systems used within MSS and PNO etc.
