Description
Our client is looking for a Power BI Architect. This role involves working with stakeholders to identify the required architecture, licensing, and technical considerations associated with a Power BI deployment for a large enterprise organization. It will involve producing technical documentation and providing advice that will cover the various aspects of the rollout, including but not limited to; Best practice tenancy considerations, workspace structures, data modelling advice, gateways and deployments.
Mandatory competence and experience:
• A thorough understanding of what a best practice enterprise deployment of Power BI would look like.
• Experience with Power BI Desktop, including Power BI development practices (M/Power Query and DAX).
• Experience with the Power BI Pro/premium Service, including the various tenancy options available.
• Experience developing TOM, reports, apps, dashboards in Power BI.
Data Modeling (both traditional and DW-oriented)
• Demonstrated experience in consulting, including a strong design background and people management.
• Knowledge of modern data platforms, preferably the Azure cloud and how to architect solutions of end-to-end.
• A solid technical background with proven delivery experience.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
