The Department of Political Science is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The department's researchers collaborate in research groups including Forum for Political Behaviour, Public Ethics and Corruption, and, European Research.
The department seeks one Post Doctoral researcher in political science.
Field of subject for the position
The Post Doctoral research project is supposed to be carried out in the field of Comparative politics - including Swedish politics and European politics, and to be integrated with one of the research groups at the Department of Political Science.

Extent and period
The position is for two years, 100 %.
Context of position
The working tasks consist mainly of research (80 %) within the area of comparative politics - including Swedish and European politics. In your job you are expected to actively participate in the department's environment and network both internally and externally.
20 % of the work time concerns teaching and tutoring at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Qualification requirements
Qualified for appointment is the one who has a doctoral degree in political science, no older than three years before the application deadline.
Applicants must not have previously been employed as a postdoctoral fellow for more than a year in the same or related subject area at Linnaeus University.
To be eligible for this position good knowledge of English is also required.
Assessment criteria
The overall assessment of skills is focused on the applicant's potential for a successful career as a teacher and researcher.
Of particular importance is documented experience of research in the field of comparative politics - including Swedish and European politics.
The work is performed in a research group why teamwork and flexibility is accorded great importance.
