As a Portfolio Analyst you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting environment with high pace, that is commercially driven and centered around our core businesses, Debt Purchase. You will work together with a team of colleagues in Alektum Group HQ office in city of Gothenburg and the office in Zug, Switzerland.
The Debt Purchase is an important part of our total commercial offer to our customers. The position as an Portfolio Analyst belongs to the Debt Purchase department reporting directly to Director Portfolio Management. The position involves independent review, valuation and pricing of client portfolios for sale, but also follow up, review and forecasting of existing portfolios. You will play an important role in the development of Alektum Group's business, and your analysis will be the basis of investment decisions at management level. The work is varied and intense from time to time as you will face new situations and exiting challenges.
Main tasks and areas of responsibility for the role:
• Cooperate within the investment team to secure the group's delivery with the right quality and timing in portfolio investments
• Secure an efficient investment and review process facilitating a significant expansion of portfolio purchases in all markets
• Order / set requirements and develop in collaboration with portfolio investments members internal analytics methods and analysis systems
• Develop and implement valuation of the group's debt portfolio in the context of valuation methods
• Provide knowledgeable and readily available decision-support for Debt purchase- & Senior Management.
• Follow up on the debt purchase performance aggregated and on portfolio level.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To succeed in this role we expect you to have a degree in economics, mathematics, statistics or related subjects. You have at least 5 years experience in performing and interpreting extensive data analyses, preferably in an international environment. Your skills in Excel are very high and you are comfortable in summarizing and presenting data to senior persons within short time. The international nature of the job also requires excellent written and spoken English.
We believe you have excellent analytical skills, high quality standards, and an efficient way of structuring your work. You are an "numbers-person", and you are motivated by working with large and complex calculations. You also appreciate being a part of a committed team, and you have good interpersonal skills.
