Ready for a new, exciting challenge? Here is an opportunity to take the next step in your career and join a team of excellent and committed professionals. We are now looking for a highly skilled and motivated Plant Electrical Engineer to join Metso Mining and Construction in Sala.
In this role you will be involved in the electrical/control/instrumentation and plant engineering work in our projects. Your work will include preparation of single line diagrams, instrument lists, P&ID, write up of process-oriented functions for the control of the process and operations as well as support our market sales organizations worldwide.
Job responsibilities also include working closely with project managers to give input, report design changes and time and cost parameters. This role requires some domestic and international travel and the ability to work independently in projects and custom oriented activities.
To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Electrical/Instrument Engineering. Ideally, you have at least 3-4 years of experience from working with Plant Electrical Engineering. Experience from the mining business would be an advantage. Skills in PLC programming are an advantage.
As a person you are a highly motivated individual, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and effective interpersonal skills are required, as you will have frequent interaction with both internal and external customers and suppliers and must be able to effectively discuss, explain and coordinate plant designs with other disciplines cross-functionally.
