The Package Development & Food team within Carto Bottle & Gable Top & Tetra Recart is now looking for a Package Development Engineer.
Our products are Tetra Evero Aseptic, Tetra Top, Tetra Rex and Tetra Recart. All of them give brand owners unique possibilities for differentiation.
We drive our development and product lifecycle work in cross-functional teams working with an agile approach. We are flexible and work with enthusiasm to deliver on our commitments.
Main Responsibilities
• Be part of an agile cross-functional project team to develop new packages, packaging material or closures.
• Support the translation of requirements into package design
• Co-ordinate and perform package verification and validation activities internally and at customer site.
• Write test specifications, analyse package performance & functionality and document results using reports.
• Coordinate and execute package activities according to existing procedures, standards and methods, in partnership with suppliers, specialists and consultancies.
• Drive root cause investigations on package performance and functionality
• Drive risk assessment for package
Qualifications
Past experience in product development in the package and/or packaging material area is highly appreciated, as well as experience in technical test methodologies in the area of primary and secondary packaging. Knowledge in Requirement Management.
Well acquainted and self-sufficient in Physical Testing. Knowledge of Virtual Testing is considered a plus.
You are a person with analytical skills, clear in communication, who can manage complexity and ambiguity. You are a strong collaborator, enjoying teamwork across functions and disciplines. At the same time, you are expected to lead and execute engineering tasks.
For this position we believe that you have a Master's degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical or chemical engineering.
You have good communication skills, both verbal and written English. International experience or background is considered a merit.
