As Operations Manager you will be in charge of Project Engineering (Mechanical, Controls and Robotics), Purchasing, Workshop and Service in the Nordic countries. You will plan the operations and assure high quality of production and all operations in accordance with FlexLink standards. You will be located at our Global HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden, and you will report to the General Manager of our Nordic unit.
Main activities and responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction for all your departments
Be accountable for technical feasibility, resource needs, cost and savings expectations
Create, implement and maintain medium and short term production plans based on sales needs
Define annual operations budget (cost, delivery plan, head count, investments) in cooperation with internal customers and the management team
Manage staff, including workload analysis, headcount requirement, new staff recruitment and performance review, including KPI evaluation
Responsible for delivery time and cost control of all the projects assembled locally and for export
Set the department's efficiency monitoring systems and procedures and ensure the respect of the targets received by Area Management
Develop, implement and follow up proper PI and KPI relevant for the Nordic Unit in order to improve gross margin in projects
Who are you?
At least five years' experience of project management within an industrial organization, achieving outstanding results
Contract management experience
Experience in project-based sales
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Structured approach
Ability to easily adopt efficient ways of working
Good communication & listening skills
