Oasmia Pharmaceutical AB develops, manufactures, markets and sells new generations of drugs in the field of human and veterinary oncology. The company's product development aims to create and manufacture novel nanoparticle formulations and drug-delivery systems based on well-established cytostatics which, in comparison with current alternatives, show improved properties, reduced side-effects, and expanded applications. The company's product development is based on its proprietary in-house research and company patents. Oasmia is listed on NASDAQ Capital Markets (OASM), Frankfurt Stock Exchange and NASDAQ Stockholm (OASM).
Oasmia's operations are expanding rapidly and the Company's first product Apealea® recently obtained positive opinion regarding market authorization from EMA (European Medicines Agency).
ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Global Account Manager will be the key contact for assigned account/s and internal stakeholders in order to provide both effective strategic and tactical sales direction and communications strategies to profitably increase and develop global business with assigned account/s.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing partners, seeking to expand volume, introduce new products and enhance margin
• Monitoring business activities and competitors' actions seeking to gain market share by expanding customer base and product usage
• Providing timely feedback to management concerning product acceptance, need for new products, emerging opportunities and challenges
• Promoting and strengthening customer relations through the prompt resolution of customer problems
• Remaining technically proficient and knowledgeable concerning the Company's product offerings and capabilities
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's or MBA degree in relevant discipline and a minimum of 7 years' experience within pharmaceutical or similar sales with demonstrated ability to handle major international accounts. REQUIREMENTS
• A track record for demonstrating sales skills in pharmaceuticals, preferably in the oncological or immune therapy area
• The ability to quickly establish, develop and maintain professional business relationships
• A penchant for closing sales and handling complex customer relations situations
• Experience to work with big global organizations
• Time management/organizational skills and the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Advanced negotiation skills
• Exceptional communications skills - oral, written and presentation in English and preferably in additional languages
The job will require substantial travel, primarily within Europe, to the United States and Asia.
The location for the position is at the Oasmia head office at Vallongatan 1, Uppsala, Sweden, or at our office in Hong Kong.
