As an NVH Engineer you will be part of a creative team of approximately 150 engineers, working with mechanics and electronics worldwide.
Our objective is to be in the global frontline of our product ranges. In our designs, we use a great deal of advanced injection-molded plastic parts, in combination with steel and other materials. Electronics and mechatronics have also an increasing impact on our designs.
Working for us, you will be a part of the Analysis & Simulation Department as a specialist within Noise, Vibration and Harshness, were you shall drive solutions and take responsibility to solve noise and vibration related problems. You will contribute to decrease the development time and cost, implement your solutions into the products and compare the effect of design changes, continuously through the process of product design and validation. In addition, you will have many international contacts as our customers and suppliers are global.
In your work, you will use a wide range of hard- and software equipment in your daily work, structural and acoustic field measurements using LMS Pimento. LMS CADA-X and Test.Lab are used for S&R and sound quality analysis in a Hemi-Anechoic room. Dynamic fatigue are performed with Tira or LDS shakers and m+p control software.
We are looking for applicants who are experienced in working in projects, taking great personal responsibility and have the ability to collaborate and communicate well with all levels in the organisation. You have a solid theoretical knowledge and also show applied skills in technology.
Working in our team, it is important to have the ability to work in a structured and independent way taking full responsibility of method development to secure and create technical advancement.
It is important that you are committed to your tasks and have high focus and interest to combine theory and practice into product solutions, as well as having a solution driven approach and a positive attitude.
Prefarably, you have experience from the automotive industry within dynamic fatigue, sound quality, structural analysis, vibration and acoustic measurements along with signal analysis is desired. Experience from plastic components and knowledge of polymer materials are also qualifying.
Good knowledge of Swedish is preferred, and knowledge of other languages such as German, French, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean is also valued.
