Natural Cycles is recruiting a Medical Liaison fluent in English to work asthe medical lead for the UK, based in London.The goal is to establish relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and a high scientific/ medical reputation for Natural Cycles and ultimately create a more informed and receptive HCP environment for Natural Cycles.
As the Medical Liaison UK you will provide scientific/ medical support for the product and company; you will be responsible for initiating contacts and developing networks with HCPs in practices & clinics, identifying educational opportunities, delivering scientific presentations; developing and maintaining professional and credible relationships with key opinion leaders and other stakeholders (e.g. scientific media & associations).
What you will be doing
Liaison with Scientific Community
Enhance Natural Cycles' image as an advocate of medical advancement in Women's Health and Contraception and engage healthcare providers in meaningful scientific exchange of information
Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector (HCPs and KOLs, as well as relevant Medical Societies, Patient Organisations and Associations)
Initiate, develop and conduct medical education for healthcare professionals through presentations at office/ clinic visits, medical meetings, and other appropriate venues to enhance product knowledge.
Drive the identification, develop and maintain successful relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and providers at academic and non-academic settings in order to achieve mutually agreed upon objectives (i.e., investigator-initiated studies, publications, etc.)
Work strategically and tactically to increase the awareness and use of Natural Cycles among HCPs.
Keep detailed records of all contacts
Education/ Training
Develop educational strategies and materials to increase HCPs' scientific knowledge in Contraception and awareness for Natural Cycles
Review/ Approval
Support country PR, Marketing and Business teams with compliance in the areas of ethics and medical
Ensure medically correct content of promotional and non-promotional materials
Medical input
Support interactions with local regulatory agencies (together with Regulatory Affairs)
Provide high quality support to the business: give correct and timely answers to medical questions; esp. related to country-specific queries
Assist in the development of new claims for Spain, based on the Instructions for Use (IFU), clinical study data and the key messages provided by Medical Affairs
Support local Market Access activities by providing scientific expertise for various stakeholders (together with Market Access)
Keep up to date with the latest clinical data on Natural Cycles
Monitor local competitor activity and competitor products
Research/ publications
Identify and develop relevant research opportunities
Develop and drive scientific studies (qual. & quant.) together with local KOLs and HCPs
Plan and write scientific publications
Events/ meetings
Plan and implement scientific meetings/ events/ lectures
Content/ materials
Support the development and lead the communication and roll-out of scientific data to HCPs
Support the development of scientifically accurate marketing materials
Lead the development of medical education programs and materials for HCPs and patients.
What skills and experience you should have
You are a medical doctor or pharmacist or post graduate in medical field by education from a registered university.
Ability and experience in building relationships with external KOLs, other thought leaders, and external organizations
Relevant knowledge in the therapeutic area Women's Health
1-3 years experience in similar function, e.g. in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical company, academia or equivalent.
Understanding of healthcare delivery systems and environment, esp. in the UK
Excellent verbal and written communication and English language skills
Energetic, committed and driven team player with a can-do attitude and a goal/ output-oriented mindset
Outgoing personality, good interpersonal skills to build strong networks and relationships
Ability to develop communication concepts (story telling) and tailor activities and messages of complex scientific information to various audiences
Highly articulate and persuasive during formal and informal presentations; able to convey complex scientific ideas fluently to any audience
Self-starter. Works independently. Sees where they can add value and develops ideas.
Willingness to attend company meetings in the headquarter in Stockholm (approx. 1x/ month for 5 days)
