ABOUT THIS AREA OF WORK
At IKEA Food we handle all our stations such as serving, cash handling, replenishment, dishes, Bistro and Swedish Food Market. The role of employees with operational responsibility includes ensuring that we have the right staffing for the day and that operations run smoothly. You need to dig in when and where needed, which means that one moment you are wiping tables in the restaurant and the next moment helping the colleague who has problems with the cash register in the Bistro.

To thrive as an employee with operational responsibility, you need to have a great commitment to take care of our guests in the best way and willingness to take responsibility for our daily operations.
On the days you are an employee with operational responsibility, you will lead and distribute the work within the function and have the overall responsibility in the daily work. This is a changing role, which means that you need to have a humility in your leadership and the ability to one day lead others and the next day be led yourself.

The position is part-time (30,6h/week) as an IKEA Food employee with operational responsibility. With start date as soon as possible, by agreement.
The shifts are held day and evening, weekdays and every other weekend. Working hours vary from 07:00 to 20:30. You are scheduled as an employee with operational responsibility about 2 times per week. The rest of the time you are scheduled as an food co-worker employee. Salary according to collective agreement as restaurant employee with good allowance for inconvenient working hours. For example, double hourly pay Saturdays after 12, all Sunday and public holidays.
