Would you like to be a part of our team to develop top modern technical solutions for complete train connection systems? We are looking for Mechanical Engineers to strengthen our Global engineering team. As Mechanical Engineer you will work with a broad range of products within train connection systems with a special focus on couplers. You will be placed in Vika, Falun and report to the Engineering Manager.

Your responsibilities
Work as a mechanical engineer in customer and development projects where you contribute with your skills in one of our four engineering teams.
Carry out project design on the basis of the customers requirement specification and company policy.
You cooperate with all sections within the Engineering department and also with e.g. Sales Engineers, Procurement and Customer Service.
Ensure that the product is tailored to fit its functional and production needs.
Participate to the continuous improvement of applied technical solutions and methods.

Traveling will be necessary in accordance with the project requirements.

The successful candidate will have the following profile

Education & Job experiences:

University degree within the area of the responsibility.
At least two years of engineering experience
Experience of CAD, preferably Inventor and vault.

It is a plus if you have engineering experience within the train industry.

Personal skills:

Good technical understanding and analytical skills.
Team orientated with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with colleagues and other departments.
Well organized, highly motivated for the job and with an open attitude.
Capacity to overview customer specifications and design accordingly.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish
