We are looking for a Mechanical Designer for one of our Client.
Position Summary:
Mechanical design work/tasks across the product life cycle for Petrol chainsaws.
Tasks
Develop and maintenance of parts and subsystems according to Requirements, Lessons Learned and Design Guidelines.
Detailed component design, 3D CATIA (CAD-system) according to client methodology
Take active role in validation of parts/concepts EP-series, prototypes and design samples.
Ensure DFM/DFA/DFAA
Verification of design by simulation: Moldex, FEA, & Tolerance analysis
Establish geometric specification (drawings) Including updates after Internal and External Drawing Reviews.
ECR/ECO handling for assigned components/subsystems
Collaborate with Key Stakeholders.
Keep Lead Engineer, Platform Owner and Line Manager updated with status of work.
Documentation according to process described in the client PCP.
Required skills
Good knowledge in Catia V5 & SmarTeam or Team center
High experience of Product development & Mechanical engineering.
Good knowledge in Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Good knowledge in root cause analysis
Open-minded and searching for collaboration and knowledge.
