Gymnasie- och vuxenutbildningsförvaltningen är en av tre skolförvaltningar i Malmö stad. Vi ansvarar för utveckling och genomförande av gymnasieskola, vuxenutbildning samt arbetsmarknadspolitiska insatser. Idag är vi 1 500 medarbetare och vi finns i hela Malmö. Arbetsuppgifter
Based in central Malmö is Malmö Borgarskola, International Baccalaureate. This Outstanding Diploma Programme is seeking to appoint one teacher with experience and competence in one or more of the following subjects:
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Theory of Knowledge
It's a merit if you also have experience and competence in teaching Mathematics and Physics.
This position implies full time, permanent employment and might require the successful applicants to teach both the national programme and the IB Diploma Programme for students aged 16 to 19.
We are looking for a gifted teacher to join our outstanding team that will bring their own expertise in math and physics to benefit our international student body. Successful candidates teach over three years of the IB
Teachers who are not experienced in this curriculum will have theopportunity to obtain IB training during their time at the school which could include teaching of Theory of Knowledge (ToK).



Kvalifikationer
Applicants should be qualified in the following:
• international experience and open mindedness
• a strong interest of mathematics and physics development and experience working in an inquiry driven teaching and Learning environment
• a willingness to use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
• the ability to engage with pupils and maintain a high standard of work at all times
• value cooperation with faculty and staff
• enthusiasm for the IB
• either EU citizenship or valid documents for employment in Sweden is required

Applicants must have a teaching degree and fluency in English.
Preferable for applicants to have IB training/workshops as well as excellent IT skills, (preferably Mac and GAFE, Google Apps for Education).
