About the job
As Manager for Workplace & Collaboration, you are responsible for the team managing all Workplace and Collaboration services used in the North Verisure Platform. You will work with both your management team and the delivery team to secure the delivery of Workplace & Collaboration development and enhancement projects, user support and security, maintenance and operations of your domain.
You will define and supervise the implementation of a technological map to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope. Furthermore, you will manage and validate the IT supplier's selection (hardware and software) and forecast the budget for the different systems. You will provide leadership, have accountability for the performance of the team and plan and control resources. Participating in and implementing processes and ways of working in cross-functional collaborations that benefit the work and fulfil the mission and the goals of the department efficiently and effectively is crucial in this role.
You will mainly work in close cooperation with your peers within the End User Services and Infrastructure, Network and Operations departments, but also our colleagues within the Technology platforms group-wide - learning from each other and developing future services together.

You have experience in leading personnel, fostering a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and swift conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to bring the best out of each employee and the department.
You inspire, empower and challenge employees to develop themselves and provide career development planning and opportunities. By providing strategic direction as well as tactical goals for the area, you secure solutions and roadmaps to accelerate the department's capabilities.
Also, great if you have:
* University degree in computer science or other relevant education
* A couple of years of experience in a similar role in IT service delivery, preferably within a global organization
* Understanding and experience in the IT Workplace & Collaboration area especially Microsoft applications and delivery
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Must be able to communicate with users from all levels within the organization
* Good knowledge and experience in resource planning
