The position includes to develop and manage the Class1 project portfolio within Project Office Technology Platform (POTP) in cooperation with involved TP departments and Product Planning, and to chair the governance of Class1 TP projects.
The position also includes status reporting of the Class 1 project portfolio to POTP and reporting of relevant Key Parametric Indicators. Furthermore, the role includes to employ relevant Chief Project Managers to the unit and to continuously secure skills development of the personnel.
The role also includes to support in portfolio management of Class2 and 3 TP projects within POTP and support process development within Project Office.
The manager for TP Class1 Projects will report to PO TP Director.
Our CPMs work in a stimulating environment, managing technical and operational challenges in the global Volvo organization.
Required Competencies:
Documented experience from senior project management in industrial companies
Ability to manage, act and communicate in a cross-functional and multi-site organization.
Managerial competencies.
Focused on meeting objectives, and delivering according to time, cost and quality targets.
Minimum Years of Experience Required
Minimum 5 years Project Management experience in industrial companies
Minimum Education Required
M.Sc or B.Sc in combination with relevant working experience
