The Global R&D function is looking for a new manager for the Product Maintenance team within Power Wheelchair Development in Timrå.
As manager for Product Maintenance you are responsible for the maintenance of our active portfolio and owner of Product Maintenance processes and Design Change. You will assure delivery of solutions that maintain market leadership of our products in aspects of functionality, quality, cost and innovation.
YOUR ROLE - Key responsibilities
Part of board for Change Request Analysis (Product Changes, Design Changes etc.)
Lead the maintenance team in their activities of performing decided design changes.
In the CAPA process participate in root cause analysis and processes to implement preventive and corrective actions to occurring deviations of the active product portfolio
Manage personnel and distribute workload within the department resources.
Set targets for department capabilities and drive towards them.
Coach and guide employees in their daily tasks.
Work with Continuous improvements in terms of both processes and personnel competencies
Work with capacity management of the department both regarding planning and capability improvements
Assure deliveries according to regulatory requirements
YOUR PROFILE - Qualifications
MSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field
5+ years' work experience as a design or development engineer.
Leadership skills and demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and developing individuals.
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
