Publiceringsdatum2012-01-11Dina arbetsuppgifterAs manager for module engineering you will be leading 10-15 engineers (electrical and mechanical), working in several teams. You will hold full managerial responsibility for team members, employee development, coaching, annual salary review and core competencies.
The position holds technical responsibility from converter product roadmaps to reliability growth on existing products. The majority of the team's work is done in development projects and product support projects.
An important part of the work is to staff projects with the required competencies, to monitor project progress, to assure that processes are adhered to, to review deliveries from the projects and to take responsibility for maintaining the results from product development projects.
The manager participates in several international communities and has frequent contact with colleagues in Mannheim, Zürich and also Pittsburg, Vadodara (India) and Trapaga (Spain). Participates in establishing strategies in close collaboration with colleagues in own team as well as with teams in Mannheim and Zürich.
This position has large impact on performance of converter as well as software, quality, technically as well as cost.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
• Higher education in Engineering or a similary appropriate technical area
• Deep and broad knowledge about electric drive systems and embedded products
• Good understanding of Propulsion systems, TCMS, propulsion/ traction/auxiliary systems
• Fluent English and Swedish language skills is required.
You are results oriented, able to work independently and to plan and organize heavy workloads. In addition you are team-oriented and able to work in an international environment.
The role requires an ability to respond very quickly to customer requests and demands. It also demands excellent leadership skills, a customer focused attitude, team spirit and social skills.
