We are now looking for a Manager Mechanical Integration!
Description
The Mechanical Integration Department that you will manage is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will build up and form the Mechanical Integration Team consisting of complete vehicle and Physical HVI (Human Vehicle Interface) and improve the processes and tools around it, both for the mechanical integration team and in the cross functional work with surrounding areas in the organization.
We also participate in international projects and your position will complement existing skills and resources, and will report to the Director Mechanical Integration, Mechanical Design, Creative Design & Technical Documentation.
The role as Manager involves:
• Lead, coordinate and inspire the Mechanical Integration team in their daily work
• Responsible for predevelopment of the Architecture, Platform and Vehicles during the complete prestudy and development phase.
• Develop processes and routines for the working environment at the department
• Define, maintain and continuously improve engineering and product development processes, guidelines and methodologies in the area of Mechanical integration
• Responsible for virtual mechanical verification and validation
• Responsible for resource planning, recruitment and prioritization
• Responsible to develop staff and handle personnel related issues within the team.
• Responsible for budget within Mechanical Integration.
• Anchor the assignment's decisions , development and status with the responsible management
We are looking for someone who has:
• University Education in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Relevant experience in the automotive industry, at least 10 years
• Experience from Mechanical integration and Architecture work
• Management experience
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written
