Consumer Services at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user services, from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers we create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products.
We are now looking for a Manager, who will lead the Marketplace and Customer Portal product teams. The product teams are composed of sub-teams of more than 20 highly skilled Product Owners, Developers, User Experience Designers, Business Analysts, Testers and Architects with an ambitious target to create world class user experience for our Digital Channels Products. The manager will play a key role in guiding the success of our products leading cross-functional product teams.
The role
In this role you will have a combination of responsibilities. You manage a full team, building the team spirit and a performance organization. You set the direction to reach the targets together with the product teams. You lead with passion to empower your Product Owners and team to provide the greatest products. With the voice of the customers and alignment with key stakeholders, you secure the "end-to-end" ownership, delivery and continuous improvements of the different products in your area. You will also;
Own the user experience and business value with ROI and budget responsibility by encouraging the teams to know the users to build the right solutions and to build them right with built-in quality.
Empower the teams to implement an agile product ownership; understanding what problems to solve, prototyping and testing, implementing the proper process, methods and learning culture.
Oversee the product area lifecycle, roadmap and backlog, prioritize and plan the sprints in cooperation with the teams and our RTE.
Create an environment for self-contained and team-driven decisions, enable product reviews, facilitate open communication, and remove product-related issues and obstacles.
Your profile
You are an innovative problem solver and collaborative team player with a strategic and business-oriented mindset. You have a true passion for people, a catalyst for the team to deliver successfully. We also believe that:
You have previous experience as a manager and leading a product team
You have a 5 years + experience in Product Management or similar
Experience in leading multicultural teams that are distributed over multiple sites across the world
Experience in hybrid sourcing solutions (employees, consultants, work package, managed services)
You have a university degree in a relevant field, and experience in agile ways of working and are familiar with SAFe.
You are used to take responsibility, a "can-do" attitude and have the ability to communicate on different levels within a large organization.
You are highly skilled at delivering digital channels or software services.
You have a valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen.
You are fluent in English - both written and spoken.
