The Manager Manufacturing Process will lead and work closely with a team of process specialists and engineers across various electrode units to achieve common goals. This role involves leading the development and implementation of processes, procedures and methods to increase efficiency and productivity, conducting thorough audits, recommending tools and techniques, coordinating with other departments, tracking process performance metrics and engaging in equipment maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities
Assist Senior Production Manager/Director of Manufacturing in planning, managing, and supporting production.
Be part of developing new methods, tools, and processes. Responsible for implementation in own area and sharing of best practices
Identify and report operational and maintenance problems to prevent production delays.
Address employee concerns and complaints in professional manner.
Interviewing, hiring and training new employees.
Manage performance review, appraisals, and promotions for employees.
Ensure production process is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Lead and collaborate closely with a team of process specialists and engineers across various Electrode units, collectively working towards our shared objectives.
Spearhead the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and methodologies aimed at enhancing efficiency and productivity.
Conduct thorough audits of existing processes to pinpoint areas ripe for improvement.
Identify and recommend appropriate tools and technologies in collaboration with the engineering team to bolster process enhancements.
Coordinate seamlessly with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of accurate and up-to-date information.
Contribute to the tracking of metrics and dashboards designed to monitor process performance diligently.
Actively engage in equipment and machinery maintenance activities, assuming responsibility where feasible.
Requirements
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor of science in mechanical/industrial/Electrical or related engineering.
Proven Leadership in manufacturing Organizations.
Manage performance reviews, appraisals, and promotions for employees.
Experience in the modern Operations Management principles: Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma.
Documented leadership training.
