Our Procurement team consists of nine colleagues and manager, handling all procurement for the Stena Line Group. We work together to create value for the company in close collaboration with key stakeholders in the different regions. Now we're looking for a new colleague that can help us develop our way of working and take the next step!

What will you do?
As Manager of Category Management & Procurement Development you are responsible for the two areas. It will be your mission to manage an assigned category to create highest value, quality and reliability by collaborating with key stakeholders. You will also lead cross functional sourcing activities to meet the Company's requirements. We need your skills to develop our procurement function, to maintain and improve purchasing processes as well as procedures. You will be responsible for coordinating and driving continuous improvements within the procurement organisation, in order to increase efficiency and satisfaction.

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong category strategies
• Analyze category spend data to find opportunities for cost reduction
• Lead cross functional sourcing activities
• Lead and implement the operational development of procurement processes and procedures
• Negotiate and settle contracts / frame agreements
• Monitor and advise on market conditions, which represent risk or opportunity to Stena Line with regard to commercial, legal, quality and environmental conditions
• Manage commercial relationships with suppliers
• Support the organization when there is a need for a purchase; compare offers, negotiate, evaluate and approve suppliers, together with stakeholder evaluate the product/service
• Manage knowledge and processes, and ensure project team members are applying best practice and work according to defined processes

Who are you?

Your efficiency, problem solving skills and analytical mind-set will be a great asset and you are able to face complex issues and find good solutions. With your solid experience and competence in the area, you can contribute and help our Procurement department develop.

The must-haves:

• A technical of financial university degree or equivalent
• Extensive experience within procurement, with great experience in leading strategic sourcing activities
• A demonstrated ability to analyze category spend data, lead the identification and selection of strategic sourcing partners, structuring of contracts and supplier relationships
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Experience in project based improvement work in an international environment
• Experience from procurement in different organisation, preferably with an entrepreneurial feel
• Excellent communication skills In English and Swedish, both written and spoken
