Maintenance Manager at Product Development IT, Scania IT

Product Development IT is accountable for delivering IT solutions to Scania's R&D department. Our responsibility cover the full range of architecture, development, maintenance, support and planning of purchased, leased and proprietary systems. We code in .Net and use SCRUM as our agile framework. We are approximately 1400 employees at Scania IT, whereof 200 employees at Product Development IT.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager who want to drive system maintenance and participate in system development for several applications and systems used in the R&D process. You will work closely with SW-architects and SW-developers and act as SCRUM Master for your systems and applications. You will have many interfaces toward different stakeholders such as operations, infrastructure and purchasing as well as towards external vendors. You will drive the change- and problem activities and be IT's representative towards the Business Owner.

Your work assignments
You will lead and plan all system management work for your systems/applications and lead one SW development team in the sprint planning. You are responsible for keeping promised quality and SLA according to business needs and Scania's IT requirements. You will work proactively with future versions of your systems and secure all budget planning for maintenance and assignment development. Within the system administration you will ensure that changes are planned and communicated and that incidents are handled and problems managed.

Your profile
We believe that you have a university degree within IT and has the following competencies:
• Strong interest in agile practices including SCRUM Master certification
• Engagement and ability to lead yourself and others with a doer mentality
• Commitment and drive to deliver, simplify and improve
• Ability to create good customer- and supplier relationships
• Ability to express yourself in excellent Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Comfortable with leading and running workshops and meetings
Previous experience from leadership roles, project management or maintenance management is an advantage as well as SW-coding experience.

As a person you have a proactive approach, are structured, and dare to take decisions. You like working in a team, but it is also important that you can take own initiatives and work independently.
