Your function:
As a dynamic Logistics colleague, you are coordinating the logistics activities (warehousing & distribution ) of air conditioning, heating and climate control solutions for Daikin Sweden. The Logistics team is responsible for the goods and information flow of finished products and spare parts.
You will execute following tasks (but not limited to):
• Daily coordination with the external logistics partners for warehouse and distribution:
o Follow-up key performance indicators: transport performance, delivery claims, inventory accuracy, warehouse damage, return process, transport damages
o Set-up meeting with logistics partners: operational meeting (2-weekly), management meetings (monthly) and business review meeting (quarterly)
o Control of the performance level of delivery and timeliness of suppliers, by tracking key success indicators (KPI) both in the area of transport and storage
o Stock control (stock count and/or cycle count, scrap,...)
• Communicate with the local stakeholders in Sweden (e.g. Sales team, sales admin team, service team,...)
• Participate in improvements projects (Kaizen). Development and implementation of new solutions in the area of logistics and their optimization.
• Logistic budgeting and monthly cost control, including support the transition to the cost database of the Freight audit tool (Control Pay)
• Cooperation with the Daikin Support Business Support (DEBS) team in Poland, responsible for the daily support administration (Stock comparison list, I-doc monitoring, inbounds follow-up,...)
• Selection and management of best-in class logistics providers in warehousing and transport
• Search for and promote best practices within the logistics network
• Ensure logistics flows are organized in the most efficient and transparent way
• Analytical and operational support for existing logistics systems and processes, incl. the logistic complaint process, the stock replenishment process, as well as logistic support of internal departments of the company
• Preparation of periodic reports and analyzes, including monthly warehouse report, analysis of data on returns, analyzes of the current demand for products, WMS interface control
• Ensuring good cooperation and open communication with colleagues from various departments carrying out sales in Sweden and logistics services outside Sweden.
• Directly report to the management team in Sweden and the European Headquarter.
• Participation in international logistics projects (projects to improve logistics processes in various places in Scandinavia
• Review and negotiate the transport fees from other European countries and for couriers
Continuous development of your competences and knowledge, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the company
Your profile:
The ideal candidate for this function has a bachelor or master degree (preferred fields of study: logistics, management, economics or related), preferably with 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar (logistical) coordinating function.
• You are a team-player and customer-oriented.
• You have a passion for Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
• You have strong communication skills and are fluent in Swedish and English.
• You have strong (business) analytical skills and are able to detect and solve problems quickly
• A good command of computer skills (Excel, reporting tools, SAP knowledge is a plus).
• Hands on result oriented person.
• You have experience working with databases or other analytical IT tools
• You can introduce new solutions to existing processes and improve them
• You are an independent and proactive person
• You can organize your work well
• You demonstrate diligence and accuracy in action
• You are ready to travel both in Sweden and in Scandinavia/Europe (a few days a month)
Scope
• You will work at the Daikin Sweden head office in Stockholm (Danderyd).
• The warehouse in Sweden (for Sweden & partially for the surrounding countries) is 3.000m2 - 5.000m2.
