The Logistics Coordinator is a key contributor to DFSI-IDTM's purpose of ensuring fairness in sport and health and safety for athletes with a passion to provide high level of service and commitment to excellence to ITA/Small International and Federations/Big International/DPO clients. He or she will operate in a fast-paced work environment, contribute creative solutions to challenges, and effectively communicate with team members and clients to achieve any mission, anytime, anywhere. Contributions include administration of all internal and external shipping, and purchase and supply management of all test-related material. This position is for the Stockholm, Sweden office location and is a full-time position with 6 months trial employment.
Summary of Qualifications:
To successfully perform this role, the individual must be analytical, an effective communicator, well organized and self-directed. He or she must uphold the company vision, possess strong integrity, and have a desire to serve our clients, DCOs/BCOs, and colleagues. Essential requirements are strong project management and attention to details; high data entry accuracy; effective communication skills including fluent in verbal and written English; ability to manage multiple projects in a time sensitive environment; highly credible, ethical, and persuasive interpersonal skills; and proficient working with the Microsoft Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The person in this role must have a background working within logistics and/or supply chain and knowledge of international shipping (pref. from pharma a/o biological samples).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain strong, positive working relationships and consistent communication with colleagues and DCOs/BCOs as part of a team-centered work environment.
Coordinate and track courier shipments including but not limited to:
Packing and shipment of materials.
Solve logistical issues that arise in daily operations.
Communicate with DCOs/BCOs regarding matters involving shipments and materials.
Manage inventory including but not limited to:
Maintain supply stock in Stockholm and within the DCO/BCO network.
Purchase material and inventory in a cost-efficient manner.
Implement best practice solution.
Facilitate supplier relations including tracking of orders, quantities, and delivery times.
Reconcile inventory in applicable application.
Provide administration support including operational paperwork.
Assist with special projects and other tasks as needed.
Understand and apply quality principles to daily responsibilities; collaborate with others on quality objectives; and address nonconformities as appropriate through the Quality Management System (QMS)
PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE REQUIRES A VALID SWEDISH WORK PERMIT.
This is a full-time position with 6 months trial employment. The role requires work 100% on site in central Stockholm. This position is desired to be filled as soon as possible and application materials will be reviewed on an on-going basis until filled.
