Job brief
As a Logistics coordinator, you will be an important part of a department with twenty dedicated employees, where you work closely as a team. Your main tasks are to plan and optimize transport through strategic and long-term route planning for our products globally. You can analyse the impact of changes in our business, such as changes in demand by order or volume.
Responsibilities
Experience in transportation, forwarding process and networking
Produce an efficient dispatch and delivery process (documentation)
Knowledge and experience in working with multinational logistics functions
Always place the clients request and their demand in first place
Transport planning and booking
Dealing with customers questions and expectations linked to commercial and logistics aspects
Communicate with suppliers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
Participate in utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
While working for Ecolean you should always follow pertinent law. You are also responsible for the following internal directives and rules concerning occupational health, safety and environment so that required permits are not put at jeopardy
Authorities granted: To exercise the responsibilities and perform the duties of the position within the company 's policies and regulations
Who are you?
We are looking for you who probably have a higher education in logistics, or have equivalent knowledge acquired from working experience. You probably have two to three years of practical experience in logistic analysis work.
You have the ability to handle large amounts of data while being good at analysing this data in order to make the right decisions.
As a person, you have a positive attitude, are service-oriented and like to take responsibility. You need to be a good problem solver with a great ability to work together. We also see that you have a good communicative ability as well as an endurance that may be needed in challenging situations.
You are analytical, goal- and result-oriented and have a holistic view.
Requirements
Relevant University degree or +5-year work experience
Proven experience as logistics coordinator or freight forwarder
You are analytical, goal- and result-oriented and have a holistic view
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP SYSTEM)
Good knowledge in written and spoken English and Swedish
Knowledge of export technique and export regulations
Ability to interact with a team and a diverse group in a professional manner
Ability to handle multiple tasks along with strong organizational skills
Possess good communication skills
Communication/interfaces
Internal:
Daily collaboration with internal stakeholders: Customer Support and logistics, Sales, Production, Production planning, Procurement, Finance, Quality and others. Daily work coordinated with team leaders within the team. Reporting to Regional Customer Service and Logistics Manager.
External:
Cooperation and communication with customers, agents and representatives, transport companies, necessary to fulfil the scope of the duties and responsibilities.
What do we offer?
Ecolean is expanding and is now looking for a Logistics coordinator to our Customer Support and logistics department to be based at our headquarters in Helsingborg, Sweden.
This position is a 12-month replacement with good opportunities for an onward permanent employment.
Physical demand and working environment
Normal landscape office environment at Ecolean customer support and logistics department with occasional visits to the production and warehouse areas requiring safety awareness of forklift movements.
