hela Sverige The Project Support & Administration Directorate at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for a Logistics coordinator position in the Supply, Procurement and Logistics Division under the Warehouse & Logistics group.
Description of the Warehouse & Logistics group
The group consists of a handful of people, trying our outmost to provide the best possible service to the organisation and its stakeholders within our field. We add structure, processes and know-how to support all stakeholders in the supply chain regardless of incoterm, agreement or challenge - we have a holistic approach and the overall project schedule in focus at every decision. Within the logistics area of responsibility, no assignment is too small or big and the approach is always the same - professional, solution orientated going the extra mile to find a cost-efficient solution and deliver superb service.
Description of main responsibilities
• Support the Group leader, Warehouse & Logistics in overall management of the function
• Monitor and follow up on KPIs towards the LSP (Logistics Service Provider) and highlight deviations to the Group leader, Warehouse & Logistics
• Follow up on forecasts and plans to ensure safe and on-time movement/delivery of goods.
• Manage and keep WMS up to date from a logistics perspective
• Work proactively and provide internal support and guidance to the organization as well as to in-kind partners, as required or instructed
• Internal compliance with ESS rules and processes
• External compliance with laws and regulations, including but not limited to, customs, VAT, handling of dangerous goods.
• Issue and handle purchase orders in the ERP system based on input from LSP on logistics cost related to already agreed rates.
• Man the Service Point, as required
• Data entry/Goods receipt in ERP system, as required.
• General administrational tasks related to the logistics process, as required.
• Develop and secure implementation of operational processes for our logistics center.
Qualifications
We don't think that you necessarily need to have a specific education in your CV. We do think that you have had many educative experiences in your work life and that you in past roles have been engaged in building up or developing new processes and routines and have been able to solve problem in a secure and cost-efficient way with a smile on your face. Your personal qualities will have great impact as a selection criteria.
• Qualified Logistics coordinator with experience within the previously mentioned area of responsibilities
• Solid experience working with 4PL/3PL/Supply chain and logistics.
• Experienced and familiar in working in a variety of software tools such as Office, ERP, TMS and WMS systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
• Driven, self-motivated, organized and service-minded
• Solution-oriented with a positive, confident and prestigeless attitude
• Experience of working in an international environment is an advantage

Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period. Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
The position is a fixed term position.
