The logistics team - we are undertaking a challange beyond an industrilization of a Battery cell plant in Mariestad. The logistics connected to the establishment will affect the full region with transports of goods, people commuting and resource movements through out the region. Us as a team we are passionate driving the material supply development with a focus on shaping the world we want to live in. We invite for collaborations and partnerships to drive the transformation towards a sustainable logistics reaching a net zero footprint.

Logistics Developer, Volvo Battery Mariestad

Your main tasks, responsibilities
Design and implement the sites future material handling concepts.
Drive or be part of developing material supply strategies
Be part of and or drive dialogues with key external suppliers and partners connected to the battery cell processes.
Drive or be part of the masterplan creation by designing the layout, defining logistics areas, designing roads and traffic planing within the site, define ways of working and more.
Set the material handling principals and define equipment need.
Drive and or be part of setting the logistics organization for the project and for running business.
Coordinate timeplans and communicate with stakeholders.
Coordinate the internal logistics teams workload and activities.

Your profile
Sustainable mindset in everything you do and by that an interest and knowledge in green industry and circular economy.
You are curious and like challenges and can adapt when things change.
A team player and a team leader that collaborates cross-functionally to involve others and spread information.
Good knowledge in automated logistics, automated warehouses, internal logistics transports solutions, yard management setup, people movements.
Good knowledge, experience, and interest in areas as internal logistics, yard logistics, stock management, goods reception, unloading and traffic planning, etc.
Layout planning skills, how things and people move around
Leadership skill from previous positions and or project management is a plus.
Very good English skills, verbal and in writing, Swedish and other additional language-skills are valued.
Experience from material flow mapping and simulation tools is a plus.

You most probably have a university degree in Supply Chain management, logistics or equivalent experience in fields like logistics engineering, material supply, other.
