Linux Systems Administrator to Jeppesen

We are looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to further strengthen our IT team. You will work with server builds, application design and support, systems monitoring and storage administration.

As a member of our systems administrator team you will implement new services, servers and maintain our infrastructure. You will support and manage all systems designed by the Architecture groups to ensure that technology is always an aid, not an obstacle. You will also be an escalation point for our Helpdesk. The position has scheduled on-call support responsibilities.

Requirments:

• Experience as a Linux systems administrator, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Kickstart
• Strong experience of setup, maintenance and monitoring of servers and virtualization
• Understanding of clustering, network, HPC, databases, application servers and storage
• Understanding of networking, TCP/IP
• As you will be part of a large international corporation, we expect you to be fluent in English

Meriting Experience:

• Hardware knowledge (enterprise class hardware)
• A background in support and administration in a mixed network of Linux, Mac and Windows
• Programming experience
• Suse/Solaris systems administration
• Redhat satellite
• Netapp storage systems
