We are now looking for an LCA Practitioner

Role Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a good understanding of environmental science. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive life cycle assessments to evaluate the environmental impact of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed life cycle assessments using LCA software established tools (such as SimaPro, GaBi, or OpenLCA.)
* Analyze complex data and interpret results to provide accurate environmental impact assessments.
* Present findings clearly to stakeholders through written reports and verbal presentations.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including experts in sustainability and engineering
* Ensure precision in data collection and analysis to maintain accuracy.

Who are you
We believe 1-2 years of experience in performing LCAs. We believe you possess strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data. Proficiency in using LCA software tools such as SimaPro, GaBi, and Open LCA is essential. Additionally, strong proficiency in Excel is needed. The ideal candidate should demonstrate good knowledge of environmental science and related processes. You have critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Additionally, the candidate should maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis. Experience in automotive product development will be considered advantageous.
Finally, you are curious and have a great interest in learning about trucks and our way of working.

You have completed a MSc or PhD in a relevant engineering area.

The Platform Sustainability department is a function within Group Trucks Technology (GTT) with the mission to provide roadmaps, expertise, guidance and support to management and engineering within the area of sustainability and circularity. Additionally, we are supporting GTT with processes and tools to ensure that our products comply with applicable legislation and our ambitions when it comes to sustainability. We also manage projects concerning legal compliance and life cycle management with Volvo Group external collaboration partners. You will be part of an enthusiastic team that believes in doing great things together!
