An individual with proven skills to deliver content and instruction to students with purpose, passion, and a willingness to do "whatever it takes" to help students succeed.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct student support through small group and one-on-one instruction both inside and outside the classroom
• Administer in-house assessment tools and screeners to determine student needs
• Create and implement Individual Education Plans
• Communicate and meet with parents
• Collaborate with teachers to develop effective whole group practices, small group interventions, and individualized learning activities
• Support teachers in differentiating plans for students based on IEP goals
• Assist teachers with tracking student progress to determine the effectiveness of interventions
• Consult with The Resource Team, manage referral documents, liaise with external service providers, and coordinate termly IEP review process
• Lead professional development in all aspects of learning support
• Advise teachers on modification processes for assessments
• Assist with accommodations of assessments
• Collaborate with subject and grade-level teams to promote an inclusive learning environment
• Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Student Support Coordinator
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Education/ Postgraduate Degree in Education
• Special Educational Needs Teacher Qualified / Special Educational Needs Certification
• Working knowledge of IEP Process and reporting
• SEN Teaching Experience
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Bladins School is an independent school consisting of a Swedish Preschool, Swedish Compulsory School, an International School and an Upper Secondary School. We are located in Malmö, a large, vibrant city located in the south of Sweden.
The International School is authorized to deliver the IB curriculum (Primary, Middle and Diploma Programmes) from the age of 5 to 19. The Primary school has approximately 350 pupils with multiple classes per year group.
