Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Lead Engineer for EV Transmissions to have responsibilities that include:
• Product development responsibilities for electric vehicle transmissions, which includes gearing, clutches, shifting mechanisms, park locks, differentiation, and supplied electronic circuitry and logic/software
• Responsible through the complete product lifecycle, including advanced development, industrialization development, production, and service stages.
• Line-role with direct support to assigned projects.
• Perform and/or support product development activities.
• Lead technical communication with suppliers.
• Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce cost.
• Evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products.
• Support future product planning activities.
• Be responsible for the development and maintenance of verification and validation methodologies and procedures.
• Establish and maintains internal and external networks
• Support mentoring and training activities.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Engineering experience from development in relevant area, minimum 5 years
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Driver license B

• Be able to plan and prioritize.
• Have and â'hands-on" approach with componentry.
Terms
National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current Collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
