We need a Lead Developer who can help us keep innovating and redefining how E-commerce is done - touching everything from industrial automation to personalization.

We are working according to the Best of Breed practice, which means we integrate and customize the best components for each job, adding our own touch and intelligence to them creating a unique ecosystem - as an example, we are developing our own search & ranking algorithms for our websites using cutting-edge technology. Apart from creating sophisticated customer experiences, we also are reshaping all departments of the organization, working agile in an agile to automate more and more processes and make the organization truly data driven.
As a Lead Developer will have a great impact on our organization and engage with everything from supply chain solutions to payment systems to marketing technologies and much more. You will be a coder and a mentor and lead our Tech Team consisting of employees and consultants. You will do first rounds of implementations, develop and set code standards and agile methodologies. For Babyshop Group and our Tech team you are going to be the technical expert, architect and advisor.
Most of your time will spent in the following techniques and systems:
• TypeScript/Node.js and SQL.
• Cloud and microservice based architecture- AWS - Lambda, API Gateway, DocumentDB, Kinesis, etc.
• Data Warehouse - Snowflake
Who is our next Lead Developer?
We see that you are passionate about leading and working together with development teams and the wider organization. We would also be happy to see that you are eager to come up with new or improved solutions that fits our business ideas, needs and problems.
Other aspects that would make you a great fit are the following:
• Experience from backend, and/or full stack development. If you have a different technical background then the stack we are working with, but you are keen on extending your knowledge, we would be happy to hear more.
• Loves agile development, automated testing and continuous integration.
• Has worked with or is keen on learning more about cloud services such as AWS and/or Google Cloud.
• Has experience working with writing algorithms and/or machine learning.
• Prospers working with architectural decisions and with many moving pieces.
