Basic training courses for nurses and radiographers lead both to a professional degree and a bachelor's degree. Training of midwives and specialist nursing with different orientations are professional registration in combination with master's degree. All professional programs lead to professional registration. Moreover, courses are offered at the advanced level, which give opportunity for continued studies to a master's degree in one of the institute's main topics; nursing, reproductive and perinatal health, radiography and health care pedagogics. Titel: Senior Lecturer in Nursing
Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: Subject area description: In nursing knowledge is developed about health and a good life despite illness or disability and a peaceful and dignified death. In nursing, it is not illness or disability, but person's experience, interpretations and reactions to illness and disease that is focus. job assignments: The responsibilities include teaching, supervision and the distribution of summative assessments mainly in nursing on a first cycle level. However, you may also be required to teach at a second and third cycle level. The assignment as a course coordinator involves developing and coordinating the learning objectives, activities and forms of summative assessments and assessment criteria in relation to the content, purpose and current pedagogical research. The position also includes quality assurance of the education with validated methods of evaluation. Active efforts towards achieving the institution's goals, to work according to the business plan and to participate in planned joint meetings and activities will all be part of the appointment. It will be expected that the applicant actively initiates and applies for external research funds. The applicant is expected to teach in Swedish.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: ELIGIBILITY:The qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance. Pdh degree, shown pedagogical skills and qualification as a registered nurse. ASSESSMENT:Regulations for the evaluation of qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance. The first assessment criterion is pedagogical and scientific skills. The quality and width of the teaching merits from nursing programmes as well as the applicant's current research on the subject will all have a great significance when finding the right person for the position. It is also an advantage if the applicant has clinical experience and experience from supervising projects, managing or being involved in funding applications. A proven ability to cooperate and show flexibility in collaboration with lecturers and students, along with administrative skills are all useful qualifications. The candidate is expected to teach in Swedish.
