As the new Head of Own Brand you will be a significant contributor into ensuring Kjells continuous growth, development and profitability by understanding the latest trends and technology on the market and create right investment possibilities for product development and supplier base for Kjells own brand portfolio.
Your assignment
• Keep up to date with the latest technology and customer trends as well as new products
• Be the creative innovator for new business possibilities
• Lead strategy development and Kjells approach to own brand portfolio and which products to invest in
• Continuously develop the supplier base for Kjell own product development, both Asia as well as to find new supplier base across Europe to shorten the logistics costs and mitigate the supply chain risks
• Understanding of the technology behind the products, the whole product development cycle as well as materials and techniques being used to ensure the right quality and competitive advantage
• Work in close collaboration with our team in Shanghai for the best business and products development
• Ensure development of strategic partnerships with right channels to ensure long-term development of Kjells own brand
• Ensure and be a significant contributor into the CSR work across Kjell and externally with our suppliers and partners, ensuring the Kjell ways of working
• Lead and develop the team, ensuring right competences for strategy execution as well as people growth in the team, aligned vision and collaborative communication
• Work across and together with other departments to ensure best collaboration, improvement and development of processes for best development of Kjell own brand into the future
• Establish and maintain own brand budget and KPI 's to be followed on
• Work closely and give input to the right stakeholders for the best messaging of the brand narrative
• Ensure and contribute for us to work as one Kjell, developing and growing our business, people and culture
Your background:
We believe you have about 10+ years of experience working in similar assignment in an international environment. You have experience and knowledge of total product development cycle and working with product development in close collaboration with suppliers. You have strong expertise in supplier base development and probably have been working and living abroad in Asian countries. Experience of supplier base across other countries is a big advantage. You have proven experience of being an inspiring leader, who can both take a strategy to the next level as well as work tactically and operationally together with your team and other departments. You have a natural curiosity, high energy and enjoy a dynamic entrepreneurial growth culture.

Fluency in English is a must, Swedish is a big advantage.
You will report to Chief Commercial Officer for Kjell Group. Your base is our offices in Malmö but since we are a future oriented organization we apply a hybrid working model with flexibility in workplace. You can expect app 50+ days of travel per year.
