Procurement is one of the fundamental levers to reduce costs in Vattenfall and maximize the value we get from our capital and operational expenditures. Staff Function Procurement is responsible for all purchases of materials and services in the Vattenfall Group with the exception of hard coal, electricity, gas, biomass, nuclear fuel and certain other commodities exclusively traded by BA Markets, in accordance with established processes.
Procurement comprises of 6 departments supporting the different Business Areas within Vattenfall and one department - Procurement Development ? responsible for all Procurement processes and systems (Procurement Performance) and for Supplier Management.
In the area of Supplier Management we are looking for the Key Supplier Account Managers.
Your responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for the development of strategic relationships with identified key suppliers across different BAs within Vattenfall Group and ensuring performance meets expectations on the group level of Vattenfall.
• You will work closely with both strategic and operational teams to identify, develop, and deliver effective key suppliers/involved commodities strategies which support the company?s objectives in different levels.
• Primary responsibilities in this role will involve in management of suppliers relationship.
• This position will engage suppliers and facilitate communication with internal stakeholders to support operational teams and processes and provide the overviews and transparency of Suppliers? performance crossed different BAs.
• Provide leadership and facilitate interactions between suppliers, business representatives and local procurement team
• Coordinate activities with different business units to optimize negotiation leverage
• Organize regular meetings on the high level between key suppliers and Vattenfall Management
• Promote supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives
• In this role we expect at least 20% of the time to be dedicated on the new Supplier Development and Supplier Management Plan 2016-2020 towards the dedicated BA/BU.
Your profile:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering or project management
• At least 5 years working experience in a Procurement/Supply Chain position and supplier relationship management is required
• Experience from negotiation, account management, project management is required.
• Good knowledge of the energy industry, experiences in the multi-culture and crossed functional environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively influence global teams and manage conflict in ways that build relationships and trust
• Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems
• High-level of organizational skills, especially crossed functional project management is a plus
• Ability to prioritize competing commitments in line with company objectives with minimal supervision
• As the person you are open, well-driven, self-motivated and result oriented.Professional proficiency in English language is a must.
