Alvenius is based with headquarter and production in Eskilstuna, Sweden, and a sales office in Munich, Germany. The work place location for the Key Account Manager is flexible.

Position

We are looking for a skilled Key Account Manager responsible for our customers in the snowmaking industry which today are located in the Alpine regions of Europe, Russia and North America. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements.
The ideal candidate must be able to build strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company's solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

As a Key Account Manager, you are responsible for the entire sales process, from customer processing, technical advice, project planning to quotation and contract writing. Your customers will be end customers, wholesalers and installers. A great deal of your time is also to process consultants. You can start work from anywhere in the region.

As Key Account Manager you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues who have solid experience in business development and work with qualitative products.

Responsibilities

• Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
• Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
• Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
• Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
• Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
• Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
• Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
• Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics

Requirments

• Proven experience as key account manager
• Experience from installations in ski resorts is an advantage
• Good knowledge in English is a must, German and/or French is an advantage
• Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
• Able to travel 50-100 days per year
• BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
