Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director, Business Development, the Key Account Manager's role will be to maintain and develop the business relationship with our current customer.

Position Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management areas; communicating, liaising, and negotiating internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
• Maintain existing customer relationships as the internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
• Develop trusted relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executives
• Communicate progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
• Collect, consolidate and regularly provide market intelligence about automotive OEMs, customers, competitors to highlight possible opportunities and threats
• Record, analyze, report and administer according to systems and requirements as needed
• Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings as necessary to aid business development
• Guide internal organization on communications with the Key Account
• Negotiate, update and maintain pricelists, contracts and other business documents

Position Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in the automotive or transportation industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales or related field
• Previous experience in leading commercial activities with partners/customers and in managing key customer accounts involving highly technical content
• Experience in a commercial function working with Automotive Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers; strong knowledge of segments and markets we operate in
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to present and influence key stakeholders
• A sense of urgency, self-motivated, results oriented with high energy and a positive outlook
• Autonomous and self-motivated but also strong collaboration abilities and a team player
• Target driven and customer oriented
• Ability to work in diverse cultures with a demonstrated awareness of differences in business and operating environments
• Effective, clear communication skills, both verbal and oral
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel skills
• JD Edwards or related ERP systems knowledge
• Fluent in English; Swedish, German or Dutch language an asset
• Eligible to legally work in Sweden
