We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to become part of our growing team of audio and sound designers at Stunlock Studios. Here at Stunlock Studios, we are developing competitive and community driven games, always with the players in focus. We are looking for a passionate sound designer to mainly work with the creation of sound effects for ingame characters, abilities and assets.
What you will do
Working with recording, design and implementation of high quality sound effects in our games. As well as take part in planning and scheduling of tasks and meetings.
Close communication with the Art-team during production
Designing sound effects in Pro Tools
Implementation of sound effects, ambiance and music in Unity3d through FMOD Studio
Mixing and balancing of sound effects, ambiance and music within FMOD Studio
Working with proprietary software developed by Stunlock Studios
Participate in the design and development of new audio tools
What we're looking for
Essential
Some experience working with games and audio implementation
Experience working with dialogue editing and processing
Familiarity with game audio middleware such as FMOD
Familiarity with industry-standard audio software such as Pro Tools and a variety of plugins
Have experience in track laying, mixing and mastering linear media such as trailers and cinematics
Have some experience with game engines including Unity 3D
Desirable
Up to date on industry standards and developments in sound production and mixing techniques in other fields such as film and music
A degree in music or sound design
A basic understanding of how code is written
